Dare To Wear // Crop Tops

I am a self acclaimed crop top addict. Anything cropped I want it in my wardrobe. Alas not everyone has the same love for the crop.

Getting chills about showing your tummy? Afraid that your late afternoon lunch with the girls may or may not make an unwanted appearance between your fabulous new white crop top and jeans? Don't fear ... (lesley's here?... i'll work on that) there are still so many reasons why to try out a crop top this summer! Here are some foolproof ways to rock a crop with out

Low Rise Jeans aren't essential // Cover thoust Belly!

Covering up your belly with high waisted skirt, or even high waisted trousers will change your whole opinion on flaunting your midriff. That smidgen of skin your showing off is actually the smallest and most toned on any woman. Hurra to that! The trick here is to make sure your top and bottoms arent sucking the life outta ye. Otherwise it shall spilleth.

Boxy Not Square

A crop top does not have to be so tight your underarms are left with the imprint of the seam. Want a slouchy day, but still want to feel sexy? - Go for a baggy loose fitting crop.
I love a grey marl loose crop ,especially paired with something that's got some volume on the bottom as well. Loose-fit trousers, A-line skirts, or a pair of culottes all make cropped tops look sweet, not sleazy.

Patterns are A-Ok

Don't be afraid to indulge in a vibrant colour or pattern, but do be weary of fluorescent colours. Stay away from neon pinks, yellows greens. Unless you intend on attending a rave, stay away from the neon variety. Instead think deep oranges, royal blues, of fun 70's inspired styles if you're after long sleeve crop tops. Pair it with high waisted jeans and you will be rocking your crop top from day to night.

Have fun picking your favourite crop tops this summer
