Puff begone with Primark

Trying new products when you've sensitive skin can be daunting. when we buy a new skin product that we really want to try The fear that haunts us of the possibly of reacting is unwavering. But sometimes you've got to really take the risk. And for me, I of late have nominated myself as your folks guinea pig for new products that claim to be skin heros.

I've puffy, purple toned under eyes. The purple, is just my genetics, my daddy is the same. But the puff recently has been starting back at me in the mirror after the last few weeks of work overload. And so when I went into Penny's to buy socks ( I know..) for a weekend break in London, at the checkout I spotted cute little eye masks stating my favourite thing as of late to be an ingredient.

Vitamin E.

Vitamin E is my ultimate skincare ingredient right now for the scarring, and for 15 applications at 1.50 I decided, let's take the chance. If Aldl are paving the way with their cosmetic range and Primarks PS range is being used by beauty bloggers globally, clearly they are not full of poison. And if my face did melt off I knew how to get in touch with them.

To start off with, the packaging is lovely. An easy ziplock packet which is ideal as there so many applications which you don't want to dry up, and really great size which is perfect for travelling - the main reason I bought them.Flights can drain that glow and natural plump - not puff - from your skin, so these little beauts are ideal to pop on in the last leg of your journey.

Instructions are pretty easy to follow. Apply to under eye, make sure the pad touches all the skin, leave on for 15-20 minutes and let all the vitamin goodness do it's magic.

Now, I got the tingles. It may have been the vitamin e, and my skin not being used to it - Ive been told vitamin c serums can have an odd effect when you're not used to it - so I just let the tingling continue for two minutes but it subsided as quickly as it started. Also, the pads, they felt weird on my face initially, trying to position them correctly to cover the right area took a few minutes as the solution on the eye masks is very wet. I know I'm really nit picking here, but someone has to!

Mum looked like a happy camper with hers on, she thought applying them was a bit trickier than she expected too, not a big deal once you find the right position for your face. Afterwards, we both rubbed the remaining bit of solution around our eye area and let it soak in.

We both could agree that our under eye area definitely felt fresher, and mum certainly thought her own looked a lot less puffy than before. I honestly couldn't see a physical difference in mine after one use. I checked the packet to see if there is an indication of how often you can use it, and couldn't find a guideline of sorts.

I would personally think once a day is enough, if not once a week! I can see them becoming a must for the morning after a hard night out with gals or even a long tiring day in the office.

Have you tried any other eye masks? Has anyone else tried face masks from the Primark range, share what you think of them with me in the comments
