Beyonce Has the Same Hours in a Day as We Do

I've been off the radar for a week or two now, between college, work and getting enough sleep it's been pretty hectic. I did not think for one minute studying art, would take be a Monday to Friday, 10 hour day kinda thing. I'm just as shocked as ye are.

And so apologies on not finding the time in the last while to even put up an outfit post. To he honest I've been fairly a mess in the mornings. No one wants to see that. But persevering through it, I'm going to try and commit to getting up earlier and getting a photo taken! And dedicating more time to the blog amongst the college assignments

For the time being here's an quick outfit idea for this crazy balmy October we're having!

Monday// Day to Night Outfit // Dameson Diner

Monday Night I went to the funkiest spot ever for some food and drinks for a friends birthday celebrations.

Knowing I'd be in college all day and have no time to "nip" home on a 40 minute train before heading out, I went for a laid back look with no makeup for the during the day, and the minute I finished up, my top knot was let down, makeup was lashed on, and spritzed my new favorite scent Calvin Klein - Escape.

Dameson Diner is found on St William Street. A neat little spot, with an alleyway flooding with low seated leather couches and tea lights as a smoking area. It's a quirky bar/restaurant with a great menu. I went with a big enough group whom were mainly smokers, so finding space was an issue ( in the smoking area, inside there is a big open space just for all you nonsmokers) I had a good night there, and found the service mediocre. It took a while for the staff to be friendly, if I had walked in off the bat with the girls for some food, I honestly Wouldve walked out back out if the staff had been as cold as they were to us - but then again maybe it was due to the large group.

Piercings // Anti -Tragus

On Friday I decided very impulsiviely to get myself a new piercing. I had just gotten paid, and with money burning a hole in my pocket, I wanted every single dress I came across. Somehow,  I resisted, but then again somehow I ended up in Snakebite  - 54 Middle Abbey Street - having the general chit chats with the tatted ginge on the desk (swoon) After discussing the anti-tragus and explaining where it was with him (the ginge) he figured out the price, 35 quid. Why not? Still cheaper than that dress I was looking at in Topshop, and id definitely end up wearing this more than once!

So I sat down filled out the form, he took one look at it and tells me to go get food. For the next 20 odd minutes I felt like I was in and out of the place like a yoyo. Don't know how they put up with me!

Getting the actual piercing was really quite sore -Far more painful than my cartilage at the top - Not going to sugar-coat if for you. The way my ear folds, I decided to get the piercing just in the v shaped concave just beside my lobe, that fold, is like a mountain of cartilage, so its a tricky tight spot for he piercer to get through.Three very looooonnnggg deep breaths in and out that felt like forever, the bar was finally through.

Although I cant wear headphones for a while, I left a very happy customer

*If anybody has any questions about the piercing / healing process don't hesitate to drop me a message on my facebook page *

What I Wore // Just Go Classic

                                            Neck Candy            Zara
                                             White Shirt           Stradivarius   // 10euro
High Waisted Super Tight Jeans    Asos
Buckled Leather Heeled Boots     Office (( 3 yrs old ))

Cute dinner date night with one of my girls tonight, Wagamamas was our place of choice, my first time eating there and it was utterly delicious.

The weather has been as temperamental as a menopausal woman, its so sticky and humid, but so bleeeeedin' wet and grey, it's horrible to dress for. Nice hair?? Certainly not an option. So a nice, classic linen white shirt and swanky necklace fits the bill perfectly. My boots have seen now three winters, and are the best things ever. The leather has worn really well, and the heels are just bout dying to be reheeled. The heel is thick enough I could wear these all day and and not be in too much discomfort by the end of it! Definitely one of go to boots for winter.

*forgive and forget that my shirt looks extrememly un-ironed *
