OOTD College
Today felt like a cozy day for college! So out came my trusty grey marl Topshop sweater, vintage Pepe flannel shirt and my favourite black skinnies from Pennys. This has become my go to outfit for college these days. It's super cozy and can be retweeked in so many ways. To make it a bit more fun I wore this blingy neon layered necklace. I kept. my makeup to a minimal ; filled my eyebrows, some foundation & lashed on concealor and powder

10 Day Squat Challenge & Gym
With summer on my mind the last week, I've decided to try out the 10 day Squat challenge. I haven't been to the gym I'd say since September if not longer. I've been saying for the last month "oh i'll go to the spin class tomorrow!" Yeah we all know that never happened. But did an hours workout tonight in the gym, and when I got home did my first day of 15 squats! Feeling the burn, and like I'm gonna puke my ring up. But I figure that's a good thing. I didn't let myself relax tonight, I kept going, I pushed myself. Yes, it resulted in a little bit of sick in my mouth on the drive home... but hell it'll be worth it.
This is my body at the moment
So to get my ass in gear ( literally) and maybe even yours to achieve the summer body you always wanted. Heres some FITSPO photos ( all over tumblr? wha? )

Agyness Deyn & Dr. Marten SS13
Agyness Deyn's new collaboration with Dr. Martens is flirty and feminine, everything you wouldn't necessarily associate with Docs. Its fresh and playful with bold prints. The pinafore style dresses, playsuits and quirky sandals are perfect for the largely anticipated warm weather of Spring. This time round, Miss Deyn took inspiration from the effortlessly cool Harajuku Girls of Tokyo and blended it with the relaxed vibe of Docs.

When there's a will, there will be a beat.
I'd love to be a female DJ. Like mixing and producing. Starting with small house parties, moving onto small lesser known clubs, blogging away about these amazing nights filled with progressive house music, cocktails, and well-dressed lads. It's one of those things I've been telling myself ill teach myself, djing. But it's daunting, yet exciting. I've no idea how to use any software out there and not quite where to start. Where's there a will there's a beat.

Treat Yourself It's a Monday..( Was A Monday)
I decided to treat myself on Monday when I was in town..It started off intending to just get my eyebrows threaded however..
..Seeing as I'm nearly all out on Mac foundation I decided to treat myself to a new one other than studio sculpt. But as it turns out, with my skin being dry and a history of eczema, s.s is the one and only for me as it's gel based and won't dry or irritate my skin! And further more I've been wearing a shade too dark for a year. The shock. With that in mind I bought a new concealer too over at Bobbi Brown. While I was in Mac I bought a small eye makeup remover for when I'm staying the night at someone' s as its the perfect size for just popping in a small toiletries bag.
Quickly swung by Boots to pick up razors and baby oil (I'll do a post on how I get super smooth legs) as I had a hot date the next night wowza haha. And bought a nail varnish - Fiji shade 14 by Essie.
Think I had a pretty productive day to say the least. Hope everyone had a enjoy full valentines day.

London Fashion Week
I didn't attend once again, but I hope to for the SS14 shows in September. As LFW begins here is a collection I'm in love with already.
Michael van der Ham Spring / Summer 2013
What stands out about this collection to me the most is the very ornate and floral twist on his trademark of deconstructed dresses. The colours are brights and fresh, and the dresses themselves make me want to reach out and touch them.

Portfolio Submission
Again I've been off my little blogging radar recently due to completing my portfolio to submit to Art Collages to study VisCom in the autumn of this year. I've been extremely busy the last two months putting the finishing touches on to my sheets and making sure everything is clear as daylight for the examiners who will be choosing my faith.
Doing my portfolio for art collage a second time was very daunting and worry-some but I'm confident this year I stand a good chance. I'm extremely happy with how things have turned out, and believe I've shown my artistic skills in drawing, colours and influence from aspects from contemporary art that I've come to love.
Out of the all the work I did this year for my portfolio there is one piece in particular I am extremely happy with. The question requested "Create a Bundle and Record it Through the Use of Colour"
I created a sculptural bundle out of 100 origami cranes that I made over 4 days.
The end result? A colourful free-hand drawn and coloured geometric print

Pre & After Christmas Sales Haul The Shoes.
This is extrememly late.. but.. sure here it is..
...Before the true Christmas sales really kicked off I went into town the Saturday before Christmas and picked probably the best sale items in a long time. My mission for my trip to town was to find a pair of heels that would be suitable for Christmas Day outfit and going out Stephen's night and all the other countless nights I plan on partying away this year.
...Before the true Christmas sales really kicked off I went into town the Saturday before Christmas and picked probably the best sale items in a long time. My mission for my trip to town was to find a pair of heels that would be suitable for Christmas Day outfit and going out Stephen's night and all the other countless nights I plan on partying away this year.
With that in mind, I was on the hunt for a pair of black or brown chunky heels. Immediately thought of the Jeffrey Campbell knock-offs that swarm the shelves of Office, Schuh and Korkys and every other cheap shoe shop in Dublin City, would do the job. How wrong was I until I found these unexpected beauts in River Island.
A complete steal, as these MiuMiu style slippers have been hanging round since the summer and only now have i found a pair that are a comfortable fit! My only weariness towards these shoes are that the stud are lethal. Sitting around the dinner table on Christmas Day I grazed my leg and cut through my tights with the studs... they are sharp! Apart from that they dress down a going out dress while smarten up a pair of skinny ankle grazers.
I remember seeing a few years back a pair of heels with a thick heel and a piece of coloured leather covering the front of the foot, very similar to these, as far as my memory serves they were Philip Lims. Although philip lim is not itlaian, these heels ooze an italian sophistication about them. Unaware to this devevloping It Trend for SS13 I was indiffferent to these when my mother suggested I try them on.. The more i looked at them the more I fell in love. The gold detail on the front and chunky zip and heel make them eye catching. And whats even better about them? They look fab with tights and without.
