Dublin Fashion Festival; Barnados Pop-Up Store

The ever growing in popularity Barnados pop-up vintage store was one of the shops I was most looking forward to visiting over the past weekend in the spirit of Dublin Fashion Festival, in the hope of finding a hidden gem amongst the reems of clothing between their two levels. Although I didn't find anything that shone through the colour coordinated rails, maybe others did.

I had a bit of a 2 minute interview with Maura Kenagh, it was very nice of her given that they were just back from electric picnic (from which they got a great response!) and still sorting out the shop and quite tired.
Surprisingly, she told me that until recently a lot of people didn't know that Barnados is an Irish charity and currently the leading Irish Children'scharity helping over 6000 children. And more surprisingly that 80%-90%of their clothing is Brand New!
