OOTD & Day 2 with Project A Apparel

Blue check shirt -penny's.
Grey marl crew -Topshop
Bamboo Gold inspired hoops- River Island
Gold Chain- my Nan's

So I had a few things going on today and needed something comfy for a pre test driving lesson, but chic enough for the internship I'm doing with Project A Apparel. And sweaters and collars are just one my favorite ways to knock off these checkboxes. On my bottom half kept it easy, dark skinners and white cons.

It was my second day on the placement, and Jesus I'm loving it more and more each time! Today with we met with an artist, who'll be taking part in the Live Art Piece for the Pop Up Shop on the 20th of December, and the coolest guy ever Daniel Scenery.

Dan is a freestyle MC and producer and is Ireland's #1 foot freestyle. On top of all that his personal style is slick, and will be collaborating with P.A.A for summer 2013 for a capsule collection.

You should check out dans music, honestly this isn't my kinda thing but when I came home I gave it a few listens, let the lyrics seep in, and now I'm tapping out beats to his stuff. Tasty stuff.

And here's one that blends his two passions!

The Perfect Red Lip

             My utensils for the perfect red lip;

 Neon Orange , Mac
This colour is great for nights where you want a red lip, but don't feel in my words, glamorous enough to go the full whack of Marilyn Monroe Red Lips, but more of Jean Shrimpton kinda gal.  I find this neon orange actually gives my skin a sunny glow, the orange tones make paler girls like myself seem a bit more 'sun kissed' in these rough winter months! Super for dressing up a jeans & sweater combination.

Passionate Red 509 , KikoCosmetics
Before I found this shade of Red, I thought I would never be able to pull off red lips being pale. How wrong I was. I swear by this shade of red, and the texture is just so incredibly
creamy.

Benefits High Beam
I use Benefits High Beam for every bit of highlighting I need. I love this product and recently found if you use a little dab just on the base of your cupids bow your lips become so much more accentuated and fuller.

Kiko Smart Lip Pencils 203 & 204

So this shouldn't be the first time hearing that a good lip liner is your best friend when doing a red lip. I know a few girls who still go by using concealer to stop the colour bleeding. But seriously, once you get the hang of lining your lips and know your shape, lining your lips or filling them in completly with the pencil (what I do) then dabbing with a lip balm before even going near your lipstick will set you up for a red lip that'll just make you wanna smile.

*If you have any handy tricks you do when doing your lipstick, don't be scaldy, do share!

                   ASHISH UK SPRING SUMMER 2013

In looking up the trends for SS13 I came across this ugh-masing collection by Ashish, yes it sparkly, yes its geeky, yes its uber city girl relaxed, and yes its me all over. If you took a look into my wardrobe all you'd see is large grey sweaters and white jersey shirts and my Nikes. I think I've fallen hard. If I were ever to find a collection that screamed my style, I finally have. Ashish SS13  portrays a girl who prefers her Nike air force ones over her heels, but revels in slipping into her disco pants at night for a boogie and a few cocktails.

Kate The Great.

What's your favorite thing about Kate Moss?
Can you bring it down to one?
I know I can't. Kate Moss is the quintessential element of cool. Every guy and girl fawns over her. And she can rock out a pair of matte red lips like a boss. With the run up to Christmas, party season is near, and so is picking the right dress, makeup and hair style. Ill be here to guide you through it all, and share my choices and biggest inspirations, Kate moss being one of them, for this years holiday season.

I'm having this major thing about my nails recently, trying to be creative and all that. Usually I sport a pretty boring plain nail but on occasion, hold onto your seats here, a RED VARNISH. My word. Nail art is making a huge storm this winter, with no off duty model, or style setter, like Rita Ora and Nicola from Girls Aloud, leaving their lavish homes so here's some inspirations to get those creative juices flowing.

Some are a bit madder than others but there all pretty wicked. One of my personal favorites is the colored half moon.

November Lookbook; Lightside of The Moon

I'm loving these 90's futuristic sport inspired looks in Nasty Gal's lastet lookbook. Everything is fresh, and slick. The metallic colours, and silhouettes are really me, and I'm just obsessing over this addidas bomber. The iridescent materials and sequins add an other worldly element to this trend. Do a usain on it, and get on top of this trend quickly some easy additions to your wardrobe.

Backpacks

Being in college now three months, I've come to the upsetting realisation that large handbags just don't work for carrying everything I need for my daily excursions. So wanting to be still stylish but having a practical form of carrying all my art materials I've decided on a perfect solution

The Urban Backpack.

Penfield

Penfield have designed the perfect backpack for dublin students, its double lined. Meaning? Waterproof biitcches. YEOW!

What's not to love about this? The simplicity. The earthy neutral colours. And oh my days, the thick padded straps? This is a definite contender.

Ehrm, okay it's not leather, but it's just as good. And it'd go with just about everything.

It will clash, yes, but is it out of this world wicked? YES. And do I want it? YES. And with eastpak being a durable reliable brand, i know the ruckask will withstand the tonnes of stuff I'd be carrying in everyday.
