Purchases Galore // Asos PII

Asos is my sanctuary of online shopping destinations. These super soft high waisted jeans were 38.90 , and are part of their own collection. They are jeans I assure you, theyve got back pockets ( although good luck to anyone fitting anything into them) and a cute little silver flat disc button.

I've worn these twice now, and baby jesus, the first night was like a work out. They are so tight I couldn't bend, or sit in them. Everytime I went to sit down at pres, I had to pop the button on them. Not the most ladylike, but hell, when jeans make your ass look great, I can deal with not being able to sit down for a night.

I'd been admiring Motels cold shoulder crop top, but I just couldn't justify 30 odd blips for a top that isn't all year round wearable. So when I saw this little gem ( again asos's own brand) I couldn't not spend the tenner they where asking for it.

Purchases Galore Asos PI // The Disappointment Dress

When I saw that this 90's strappy style dress on Asos was on sale it was an ermagherd moment. It's as soft as anything, and the straps are tight enough you can get away with a bra if your as poorly endowed as I am in the boobie department.

What I thought would be a new staple dress though was the dress of disappointment. It fit me well on the chest and across the hips, and the length was good for size 8 mini. But the back of the dress did not fall at all right. There wasn't enough fabric, resulting in a pull that did nothing. I'm really disappointed, the only way I could've happily worn it out was it I ruched up the fabric round my tummy that made the pull less obvious.

But ain't nobody got time fo that, so in the return pile it goes!

Pennys A/W13 //

The Pennys, or Primark, press release for autumn winter 2013 was today, as I'm actually working, attending this kinda thing isnt on my to do list. Fear not though! It would seem getting lookbook photos was not as hard as I thought it'd be. All I've to say on the collection, is that its just nailed a/w13 on the head. Ooze runaway model off-duty, and has a strong influence from chanels tartens and use of red from the catwalk show. Well done Pennys. Well done.

Trend Watch // Men and their Kicks.

High Fashion has been looking to the streets for some fashion forward thinking. From street to street the staple shoe of many men's wardrobe is the sneaker. But now as the big names begin taking on the sneaker silhouette there is a lot more diversity to your retro sneaker, so many types, colours and heights. So to make it easier, here are my pick of the bunch for all you fashion forward thinking men out there.

New Balance Classics.

//  The retro staple. Its a classic. Plain and simple.

Red..

// Not my favourite element of the revolution of the trainer, all the same, its been trending globally from hong kong to London. Its red, and in your face. A statement shoe for the male fashionista. Pair with earthy tones, and the pop will add dimension to any outfit.  Basketball sneakers seem to setting the pace with the colour of love.

Grounded Whites..

// No need to buy new white-ys lads. Keep strolling in your worn winter whites, off set whites and ivorys are being seen everywhere. If your gonna go with crisp white runners this summer, low tops are a softer approach and less garish.

Nike Free..

//  Nike never ceases to amaze me. Being a longtime die hard fan of all things Nike, I can find or speak no fault of their trainers. Their latest addition to the family, Free Technology, is still being built on and enhanced as the fashion crowd have been starting  to adopt it. Nike Free aren't just for Gym Bunnies, the flashy neons and sleek blacks are making a scene everywhere from the running track into festival and fashion scenes.

The shoot was taken at the Botanical Gardens we were extremely blessed with such beautiful weather!
I was assisting  Evie B who was styling the shoot. The aim of the shoot was to have each outfit affordable at the whole outfit totalled to no more than 100 blips. It was a long, but valuable day.

Dare To Wear // Scrunchies

One of my favourite brands Ashish, have revitalised the Scrunchie. At long last. The scrunchie for many brings back memories of Saved By The Bell. I'm not quite there yet wearing one of these colourful loveable atrocities atop my head outside of my house, but I'm sure the day will come. In the meantime I salute those who dare to wear.
